Penguin Parade Day Tour

Tour Description:
This day tour encapsulates the very best of the region's wildlife and gourmet delights. We journey through the Gippsland area en route to Phillip Island, stopping along the way at Rhyll Trout & Bush Tucker Farm, Koala Conservation Centre, Phillip Island Winery, Point Grant and The Nobbies. Then we'll reach what will undoubtedly be the highlight of your Phillip Island tour. We'll head onwards to the main event, where just after dark the world's smallest penguins waddle ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. You'll be truly enchanted as the stars of the show emerge from the surf and pass right before your eyes.

Tour Description:
The Great Ocean Road Day Tour explores this truly majestic stretch of diverse coastline and its amazing array of spectacular attractions. The scenic journey is a highlight in itself as we absorb some truly amazing coastal scenery with new views revealed around every bend. Experience the roaring surf, white sand beaches, rocky outcrops and towering cliffs. The Great Ocean Road Day Tour stops at numerous beaches, lookouts and other scenic spots providing the opportunity to take plenty of happy snaps, as well as to simply relax while enjoying the stunning views.

We also visit an area where the local koalas are particularly abundant, ensuring excellent koala viewing. The tour's lunch stop is at the foot of the Otway Ranges in the beautiful town of Apollo Bay. Your included lunch is provided in a local restaurant, with time allowed to explore the shops and the marina or to have a dip in the bay itself. After lunch, the Great Ocean Road Day Tour takes us into the mountains, where we take a stroll in the Great Otway National Park. Then of course it's onwards to the Port Campbell National Park, where you'll be awestruck by the world famous rock formations including the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and the collapsed London Bridge.

After lunch we'll take some time to explore its finest gourmet gems including the White Rabbit Brewery, Yarra Valley Pasta and the delightful Kitchen Butcher. The Puffing Billy Steam Train & Healesville Wildlife Tour begins with a journey through the Dandenong ranges. The region is home to the famous Puffing Billy Railway as well as numerous art and craft stores and cafés offering delicious homemade produce. Nestled in the heart of the Dandenong Mountains is Grant's Reserve – a haven in the wilderness. Grant's Reserve is a paradise for bird life and you can handfeed some of the most striking Australian birds such as the colourful Crimson Rosella, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo and pink-chested Galah.

Next you head to Belgrave, home of the famous Puffing Billy Steam Train. This century-old steam train is maintained in its original glory and runs to this day on its own mountain track from Belgrave to Menzies Creek. Here you'll go back in time as you get on board for a 30 minute ride through the heart of the rainforest. You'll head through the gorgeous Sherbrooke Forest and ride over the old Trestle Bridge. Just before Menzies Creek you can see stunning views of Port Phillip Bay. Now you're off to explore the Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary and meet some Aussie wildlife. Set in a natural bushland environment this Sanctuary is home exclusively to Australian wildlife. Here you can walk the paths through the numerous habitats to see wallabies, wombats, koalas, kangaroos, dingoes and more than 200 native bird varieties.
